Alcohol Use Requirements

The distribution or consumption of alcoholic beverages shall be in compliance with all applicable laws, including Alcoholic Beverage Control Commission regulations.

Applicant/Renter Checklist

  • Complete and turn in a Victoria Gardens Cultural Center Facility Reservation Request form to the Front of House Coordinator.

  • Confirm and sign the Victoria Gardens Cultural Center Facility Rental Contract verifying event time, date and room(s).

  • Complete and return the Alcohol Permit Application to the Front of House Coordinator 60 calendar days prior to event. Applicant and guest of honor are required to be 21 year of age or older.

  • Front of House Coordinator will request City of Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff's Department letter/contract approving alcohol use for contracted room with assessed sherriff / security fees for the event.

  • Applicant is required to provide the City with a certificate of insurance (liability) in the amount of one million dollars or more listing the City of Rancho Cucamonga as additionally insured. Applicant may purchase a certificate of liability insurance from the City of Rancho Cucamonga. Please contact the Front of House Coordinator.

Alcohol Use Requirements

  • All alcoholic beverages are required to be served, sold, and consumed inside the contracted room or area only.

  • Alcohol possession or consumption is strictly prohibited in the patios, hallways, restrooms and parking lots.

  • Applicants may only use the exclusive, licensed, on-site caterer for alcohol use distribution.

Applicant/Renter Responsibility

  • Alcohol supplementary damage deposit of $500.

  • A $50.00 Administrative Fee.

  • Uniformed Deputy Sheriff/Reserve or approved (by the City) private security company event security. (1 security per 100 guests or to be determined by Front of House Coordinator)

  • Responsible for all security costs.

  • Rental function guest(s) of honor are required to at least 21 years of age for permitted use of alcoholic beverages.

  • Alcoholic beverages are prohibited to be served to any person under the age of 21.

  • Alcohol service is required to end one hour prior to scheduled event time. Alcohol service is not to exceed 5 hrs.

  • Applicant will forfeit the damage deposit if alcohol use is not in accordance to state and or City requirements.

City Service Responsibility

  • City staff will monitor all alcohol areas.

  • Alcohol Permit Applications will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and approved or denied by the facility Front of House Coordinator.

  • City and Sheriff Department staff will determine event risks and insurance costs.

  • The City may place restriction on alcohol use due to State/Federal Law and City Ordinance requirements.
